How to Easily Scan Documents Using Phone

In a course of filling out forms online, at a point, we may be told to upload some certain scanned documents. What do we do in an area without a scanning machine? To make your scanning easy, this is why I will be teaching you How to Easily Scan Documents Using Phone.
Scanning documents have become so easier that you no longer need a scanning machine, saving you your money and stress. At your own comfort or while doing other things, you can pick up your smartphone and start scanning documents for no cost.

How to Easily Scan Documents Using Phone

There are different Scanning Apps online but they could hardly handle large files. The best way to scan documents, as far as I know, is through the Google Drive app (download link).

To scan a document with the Google Drive App, simply tap on the “+” button from the lower right corner of the App home screen and then select “Scan”.

Adjust your phone to enable the fill up of the document on your screen and then tap on the blue capture button.
After successful scanning of the document, a preview copy of it will appear on your screen of which you can crop and do unimaginable other edits.
Once you are done with your edits, tap on the checkmark icon in the lower right corner of the screen to save your scanned documents.
That’s all I have to say on How to Easily Scan Documents Using Phone. Spread the love by sharing this post to friends and associate in case you find it helpful.

41.3 Million Nigerians May Experience Mobile Network Blackout In These States

If you reside in Nasarawa, Benue, Enugu, Anambra, Edo, Ondo, Ekiti, Kwara, Niger , Kogi states and parts of Abuja, then you may soon be unable to use any mobile services.

This followed the forceful shut down of facilities in Kogi State, due to disputes arising from unusual taxes and levies demanded by the state government.

The payments, which are driven by the Kogi State Internal Revenue Service (KIRS), are for the Ministry of Environment and Physical planning, Ministry of Environment and Mineral Resources, and Kogi State Environmental Protection Board.

In the 10 affected states we have over 41.3 million subscribers which will be affected by the telecom blackout. Government, in pursuant of revenues, closed down some critical telecommunications sites belonging to service providers.

The issue started with the closure of three sites by Kogi States Govt, “but as at the weekend, the closure had affected 70 sites while 150 sites were already down as at yesterday.”

The action will jeopardise communication services to security agencies, banks in the affected areas, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and other critical agencies of government.

Instagram To Excessively Delete Fake Accounts And Fake Likes

Very soon, You shouldn't be surprised seeing accounts with thousands of followers but no engagement on instagram. Some get massive comments and likes from fake accounts and Instagram is clamping down on these fake accounts.

Some people follow and then unfollow others — after they get a follow back — and through the use of third-party apps that promote inauthentic likes, follows and comments.

You may see Instagram follow accounts start to drop in the coming days, and this is why. According to a company blog post, Instagram is trying to do something about the use of third-party apps that ‘grammers use to help artificially grow their audience.

“Every day, people come to Instagram to have real experiences, including genuine interactions,” the company notes. “It is our responsibility to ensure these experiences aren’t disrupted by inauthentic activity. Starting today, we will begin removing inauthentic likes, follows and comments from accounts that use third-party apps to boost their popularity.

“We’ve built machine learning tools to help identify accounts that use these services and remove the inauthentic activity. This type of behavior is bad for the community, and third-party apps that generate inauthentic likes, follows and comments violate our Community Guidelines and Terms of Use.”

If you are using any of this services you shouldn't be scared of your account being deleted. Instagram will send you an in-app message alerting the you that they have removed inauthentic likes, follows and comments from your account. That user will also be asked to secure their account by changing their password.

There’s also a vague warning that accounts which continue to use third-party apps to grow their audience in this manner “may see their Instagram experience impacted.”

I'm not sure what Instagram means by  “users seeing their Instagram experience impacted” but I can guess it would be using Instagram Shadow ban which limits your engagement so much you hate your Instagram Account.

Facebook at large, of course, has been hampered by a slew of bad news lately, with the company’s ham-fisted response to inauthentic activity across its family of apps increasingly coming under scrutiny. Instagram, for its part, says it will be ramping up its efforts along these lines even more so than what it included in the announcement today.

Also from the company’s post: “Since the early days of Instagram, we have auto-detected and removed fake accounts to protect our community. Today’s update is just another step in keeping Instagram a vibrant community where people connect and share in authentic ways. We’ll have more updates in the coming weeks on additional measures we’re taking to tackle inauthentic activity on Instagram.”

9Mobile Taken Over By New Owners - Teleology Holdings. What To Expect

After months of waiting, Teleology NIG LTD has taken over 9mobile. A new Board of Directors for the Telecom Company has been announced, while the tenure of the former board appointed by CBN has been dissolved.

According to Teleology spoke person, in a statement …

We thank all out-going members of the Board for helping to shepherd 9mobile through the critical transition phase it has passed through since July 2017 and wish them the very best in their future assignments,” the statement, signed by Mohammed Edewor, said.

“For us, the composition of the new Board of Directors is another significant milestone, and this follows the issuance of final approval of no objection by the Board of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) to the effect that the technical and financial bids Teleology submitted for 9mobile met and satisfied all the regulatory requirements.

This is indeed the dawn of a new era in the evolution of the 9mobile brand in the Nigerian market.”

What this means is that the new board of directors will come up with new strategies on how to beat their competitors. Though we are not expecting a change of name but Teleology Nig Ltd will bring something different to the table that will lure old and existing customers back to 9mobile network.

Kwesé TV Shuts Down Satellite TV Operation, After 18-Months in the African Market

It is so unfortunate that one of DStv strongest competitors is closing down the operation. Kwesé has streamlined its satellite television service.

With just 18-months of operation, Kwese TV is closing down operation in over 50 cities across the African continent to focus on digital of Video On Demand (VOD), according to a press statement released by their parent company, Econet Media.

According to a statement released by Econet Media, reportedly said that the development had been necessitated by review of its business strategy and service offerings, meaning that the company is following changes in the global digital and satellite broadcasting sector, as well as the growth in access to mobile and fixed broadband on the continent.

As of November 1, Kwese will only offer three services; Kwese Free Sports, Kwese iflix and Kwese Play. Those who had Kwese’s satellite service were surprised to wake up on the first of this month to see all their channels disappear.

Below is the official statement posted on FB Page by IDGD - Kwese Authorised Dealer:

Dear valued customer,

Having been in the African market for almost two years, Kwesé has taken time to monitor subscriber viewing habits and preferences. These insights have guided our efforts to provide a product range that is aligned to market needs. Kwesé has seen a noticeable shift in consumer viewing habits namely; video consumption on mobile phones, and increased uptake of OTT services across our markets. It is with these changes in mind, that Kwesé is proud to announce its new streamlined product offering.

Kwesé will now offer the following services;

1. Kwesé Free Sports (KFS),
2. Kwesé iflix and,
3. Kwesé Play

In focusing on these three services, Kwesé will streamline its satellite television service. Our new bouquet will carry selected sports and general entertainment programming for a minimal fee. Customers who have already paid their subscriptions for the month of November, or in advance, will receive a refund.

You will now have the option of enjoying premium sports content at no cost on KFS, enjoy world class international and African entertainment, news and sports content with a subscription fee of their choosing on Kwesé iflix, stream over 200 general entertainment channels on Kwesé Play for free with fixed broadband, and delight in a free satellite TV service on Kwesé TV. These changes are in keeping with Kwesé’s commitment to providing affordable premium content.

Kwesé wishes to thank you as our loyal customer for your support. We hope that you continue to support us going forward as you enjoy our affordable premium content services mentioned above.

Kwesé TV’s current subscription services and channel offering will cease as of 1 November 2018.

Further updates regarding Kwesé TV’s revised channel line-up will be announced in due course.

Kwese was launched in Ghana, Rwanda, Zambia, and Nigeria in 2017 as an alternative service to MultiChoice DStv, with the hope that it will change the pay-TV sector in Africa, but unfortunately, Kwese TV failed to outsmart DStv in the pay-TV industry in Africa.

Now that Kwese Satellite TV has conquered, can TStv as well survive their fighting?
