How to Enable Missing Hibernate Mode in Windows 8, 8.1, and Windows 10 Power Menu

There is one common issue on Windows 88.1, and the new windows 10. The "Hibernate" option is disabled in the power menu. The power menu doesn't show Hibernate Option. It contains Sleep, Shutdown and Restart options only as shown in the following screenshot:

Many windows 8/8.1 and 10 users are not aware that Hibernation Option is available in Windows 8/8.1 and 10 because the option is hidden (Microsoft simply disabled it).
The Hibernate Option can be added back to power menu. To get the missing hibernate option back in Windows 8/8.1 and 10, just follow the simple steps below:

1. Windows 8 and 8.1 users. Press Windows + W key to open the settings search menu. Then search for Power Options and select.
2. Windows 10 users. Locate Search the web and Windows under system tray. Use it to search forPower Options and select.

2. At the left side, click on Choose what the power buttons do option, and a dialogue box would appear, then select Change settings that are currently unavailable option.
3. Now, scroll down to the Shutdown Settings and you'll notice that "Hibernate" option is unchecked.
4. Check Hibernate box, then apply Save Changes.
That is it. The hibernation mode of your system will enable immediately and no more hidden in your Windows 8, 8.1 and Windows 10. So whenever you want to hibernate your System, simply press "Alt+F4" keys together as usual and you should see Hibernate Mode in the list displayed or move the Cursor to the upper-right corner of your Windows 8, 8.1 or 10 Screen on your System, then click onSettings => Power Option and you should see hibernation mode in the list as it shows in the screenshot below:

Also Note: As you can see in the screenshot given in step 2, using the same screen you can remove "Lock" option which is shown when you click on your account picture at Start Screen or you can remove "Sleep" option from the power menu.

HOW TO SECURE YOUR FACEBOOK ACCOUNT FROM HACKERS

Hackers! Hackers!! Hackers!!! are everywhere.so hacking your facebook account is more than humiliating,it can cost you money or damage your reputation, depending on what the hacker do.

Although Facebook has become part of many people's life when it comes to interacting, connecting to people all over the world.there you can stay connected to your friends, family and colleagues.

Now many people may be wondering, especially those Facebook addicted- users how to secure their Facebook account.

Now in these article we are going to discuss six steps on how to secure your Facebook account.....

 if you suspect that your account has been hacked the first thing to do is to;

1) change your password: in changing your password don't you ever use you're name,pet name,birthday and common use words.make it difficult to guess,because if you don't it will be easier for the hacker to manipulate your password.

  A strong password must be at least 8 in character in length,the longer {more character} your password is the better,because it will take more time for the hacker to crack it.

2) change your password once in every six months: these apply to all your password not only to your Facebook account,never share it with any one.if you will find it hard to remember it,just set a remainder in your calendar.

3)  never use your Facebook password anywhere else: whenever you create an account on different platform,ensure that you create a different password for each website you use.

4) never use the remember me password featured on the web browser: these is another way that hackers are using especially when you are using someone else computer. All you need to do is when "the remember me password"suggestion pop's on the screen, just click NOT NOW option.
   However, if you have set a master password for your browser,you can choose the" remember me"feature.using the feature will make anyone trying to see your password enter another password set by you.

5) type your password into a trusted computer: if you are using a computer that you don't know or trust,avoid doing anything that requires you entering your password.hackers commonly use keystroke loggers on computer system that records anything you type including your password.
  If it seems impossible for you to avoid typing your password into a computer you don't trust/know,change your password as soon as you can once you're are back to your own computer.

6) use a password manager: sometimes it becomes difficult for us to remember our own password.in these situation password manager is of great help because it will encrypt and store your password safely.You can Download it here

Airtel Discontinue 1GB for N200 Night Data Plan

This is not the first time Airtel NG will discontinue existing data plans and I’m guessing it won’t be the last.

Airtel NG has discontinued 1GB for N200 night data plan on the SmartTrybe  tariff plan. Before now, SmartTrybe gives subscribers options to go for any of the below plans;
1GB for N500, 500MB which cost N25 and 1.5GB for N200, and 250MB which cost N200 + 30Min call.
But at the moment, you only have N500 for 1GB (7 days plan) and 500MB for N25 night plan, others have been removed and discontinued. Maybe the removal of that plan prompted the introduction of Instant Download bundle for N350 1GB.
In such a time like this where other networks are introducing cheaper data bundle, Airtel is busy removing theirs.

Facebook Building its Own Cryptocurrency Coin for WhatsApp – Stablecoin

Facebook Inc. is working on making a cryptocurrency that will let users transfer money on its WhatsApp messaging app according to insiders.
The company is developing a stablecoin — a type of digital currency pegged to the U.S. dollar — to minimize volatility.
facebook stablecoin
Facebook is far from releasing the coin, because it’s still working on the strategy, including a plan for custody assets, or regular currencies that would be held to protect the value of the stablecoin.
WhatsApp is highly popular in India, with more than 200 million users. Add to that the fact that India leads the world in remittances, with more than $69 billion sent home to India in 2017, and it becomes obvious why Facebook chose it as the first location to test the new stablecoin integration.
“Like many other companies, Facebook is exploring ways to leverage the power of blockchain technology,” a company spokesman said in a statement. “This new small team is exploring many different applications. We don’t have anything further to share.”
Speculators also suggested that Facebook Maybe Cooking up The Following;
  • A crypto wallet with a “FaceCoin” to pay for goods and services from partner merchants or from Facebook ads, significantly lowering the costs of such transactions by skipping credit card transaction fees.
  • Sending cryptocurrency to friends to share bills and other expenses, rather than requiring users to connect a credit or debit card to Messenger as is the case today.
  • Use blockchain technology for security and identity verification reasons, with an improved user interface compared to the hassle of using other decentralized applications (dapps) today.
With this new coin coming, Facebook could just fork bitcoin into a corporate version.

Breaking News : Diamond Bank Has Been Sold To Access Bank, Customers Express Concern

According to the Vanguard :

Access Bank Plc has finally acquired Diamond Bank Plc. According to insiders, the official announcement of the transaction will be made in the course of the week by the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, according to TheCable. Another source said confirmed that the deal has been sealed, awaiting final ratification from the regulatory body.

 The acquisition was midwifed by the CBN in a bid to further consolidate the banking industry, sources informed. Last week, Diamond Bank announced its decision to drop its international operating licence to focus on national operations following capitalisation issues.

Uzoma Dozie, the bank’s Chief Executive Officer, confirmed the development in a statement released on Friday. Dozie had said: “With this approval, the bank will cease to operate as an international bank. “The re-licensing as a national bank supports Diamond Bank’s objective of streamlining its operations to focus resources on the significant opportunities in the Nigerian retail banking market, and the economy as a whole.

The move follows Diamond Bank’s decision to sell its international operations, which included the disposal of its West African Subsidiary in 2017 and Diamond Bank UK, the sale of which is currently in its final stages.” Broadcasting: NTA drops foreign satellites for NiGCOMSAT1R “The change to national bank status also enables the bank to maintain a lower minimum capital requirement of 10 per cent, as against 15 per cent required for international banks.” The bank recorded its worst month on record in November with share plunging to 0.61k per unit on November 30, 2018.

I wonder what this means for Diamond Bank users, well let's keep our fingers crossed.
